Vapourtec partners with Nicholas Leadbeater

One of the things that has always followed new technologies or the introduction of instrumentation into workplace industries is “how we educate the incoming and future chemists” and for whatever reason we haven’t done a very good job at aligning industrial technology with educating undergraduates looking to pursue chemistry. I was happily reminded that often it takes likeminded people to push so that this step takes place. Vapourtec partnered with Nicholas Leadbeater (University of Connecticut) to put together a flow chemistry guide for undergraduate teaching to go along with fundamental concepts — kudos to both. Having read Leadbeater’s lab guides for microwave chemistry I know the details will be unparalleled in providing the step-by-step knowledge for undergraduates to grasp how flow chemistry will be a technology they will utilize in both academic and industrial environments.
