Improving process flow conditions: In-line innovations

Zaiput Flow technologies has a couple of key innovations for flow chemistry processes. They have an in-line liquid-liquid separator to keep organics and aqueous mixing from plugging up lines and allow organics to continue to a next phase of a second reaction or improved purification. They also have a back pressure regulator to aid multiphase reactions or a need to have gas introduced as a parameter or reactant……nice addition.

And for those of you who need a bit more convincing, a recent publication (Grignard/Peterson elimination from a starting ketone utilizing the technology was reported out of the Leadbeater group at UCONN (Org Process Res Dev 2014).
